Chippings & By-Products
Wood chippings are a by-product of tree surgery work. We always aim to recycle by using it to provide local chicken and fruit farms with material for bedding.
Woodchips also make great footpaths and flooring for outside play areas. We often distribute chippings to schools, golf clubs and allotments for these purposes.
The other main use for chippings, as it mulches down, is as
bedding for plants in borders. As it’s
an organic matter it decomposes naturally whilst preventing weed growth.
