Tree Felling & Dismantling
We are experienced at taking down trees in many settings. We use specialist techniques, such as a sectional dismantle. By using rigging equipment, lowering ropes as well as landing mats to ensure the tree is removed safely. These methods are designed to protect the area below the tree from damage.
We are also experienced in the use of cherry pickers and cranes where a tree is particularly large or in a confined space such as a back garden.
A large proportion of our felling work is removing fast growing evergreen varieties that have outgrown their setting. Whilst we would avoid taking down a mature and healthy hardwood, felling is unavoidably a tree surgery service that we offer. And for example, felling has to happen where there’s a structural defect or disease.
Dead and dangerous trees are a caveat to Tree Preservation Orders and conservation area protection. Therefore, a customer in the unfortunate position of having a dangerous storm damaged, and protected tree, would not be subject to the application process. We would manage a fast response to this work and inform the relevant authorities.
